TLS on Domino? http - NOT smtp

Does anyone know if there is a plan for adding TLS to http on Domino (not SMTP). I’m in a situation where it looks like I’ll have to have IIS or Websphere as the http front end so that my users who access via browser can use TLS.

Has anyone ever used IIS or Websphere as the front end rather than the Domino provided http server?

Thanks,

Robert

Subject: Not currently in plan for any particular feature release

Just to clarify, the STARTTLS command in Domino SMTP actually negotiates an SSLv3.0 connection, not a SSLv3.1 connection, and TLS (aka SSLv3.1) support for Domino is not currently committed to any particular feature release.

As always, if you have any business requirements for SSLv3.1, please open an incident with support including the details of why SSL v3.0 is inadequate for your current needs so we can make informed decisions during feature triage for future releases.

Thanks,

dave

Subject: We Need TLS (SSL 3.1) Enabled

We are currently requiring an intense by mail communication with our partner, telkomsel.co.id. Their mail server are set to require TLS for emails to be accepted. WE CAN’T SEND ANY EMAIL to them because no such feature exist in our domino server. Please provide update/patch for it ASAP.

Thanks a million in advance for the assistance, please contact me also if you require further info
