Does anyone know if Tivoli Directory Integrator is available for Domino customers?
We were promised this with Domino 8 and I’m interested in evaluating it but it doesn’t seem to be available anywhere.

The limited use entitlement with Lotus Domino software limits synchronization to Lotus Domino data only. A full license of Tivoli Directory Integrator software allows you to synchronize data among directories, databases, collaborative systems and corporate applications used for human resources, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning and more.

You have a limited license to use TDI, but it is not bundled with the Domino install. You should be able to access and download TDI through Passport Advantage and use it according to the limited license.

I’ve found it now on the passport advantage site, I was just being useless.
Could you please explain the limited use license? It says…
“The limited use entitlement with Lotus Domino software limits synchronization to Lotus Domino data only.”
We would like to use it to sync our Domino directory with Active Directory but it appears that the limited use license does not support this. Does that appear to be correct?

The license allows you to use TDI to integrate Domino with other directories. The key is that Domino must be involved. You would not be licensed to integrate two non-Domino directories.
