just wanted to share a tip for those upgrading to ND 6 from 5.x.
We had severe problems caused by a very old version of domcfg.nsf. We never had a problem with our domcfg.nsf in the 5.x line of servers. Our version was originally created in 1998. This old version was now causing severe problems (once in a while real hard http crashes) for our servers on NT and Linux.
So here is the tip for those upgrading:
Recreate the database from scratch using the new domcfg5.ntf template.
After we recreated the new database using the new template for ND 6, everything is now running as expected.
Just wanted to share this insight tip. So if you are searching for a reason why your http crashes the complete server after you newly upgraded server, consider reacreating this domcfg.nsf (from the domcfg5.ntf) and apply all changes and configurations to this newly created database.
