I’ve a question concerning timestr:
“timestr is a program which will supply Domino with ascii timedate strings after a crash.”
What happens if timestr was switched off and didn’t run and the server is crashed?
Are there any possibilities to restart the server without the mentioned timedate string?
(Background: We’ve serious perfomance-problems and we would like switch off any task which is not 100% necessary).

I don’t know the answer to your question, but if you say more about your performance issues perhaps someone here can help. Performance improvement is usually accomplished in the following ways:Server tuning
Application tuning
Buying a more powerful server
Adding servers to create a cluster
Turning off every unnecessary server task is not usually effective, because tasks that are truly unnecessary are also generally idle. The server might run a tiny bit faster for turning them off, but I sense you want a more dramatic improvement.
