Time Elapsed from Beginning of Year (LS)

I need a little help, been through designer help and the forums and cannot seem to find anything on my issue, so I am going to throw it out here for some guidance.

I need to calculate in lotusscript the total amount of seconds elapsed since the beginning of the year. I am using this value as a comparison in another area.

Dim startTime As New NotesDateTime(“1/1/07 00:00:00”)

Dim AgentDate As New NotesDateTime(“Today”) ← Think i need something other than “today” here

From here I thought of TimeDifference but I cannot seem to make it work.

I would appreciate any advice anyone could provide.

not “Today”, but Today without the quotes…

then the seconds =

dim lngSeconds as long

lngSeconds = agentDate.timeDifference( startTime)
