Time and date off in DWA

This is strange, my DWA server as well as windows client I’m using to logon to DWA have correct time and date, and time zone. Here are my observation:1. when I receive email and look at it in inbox view time and date are correct

  1. I open this email and time and date in “Date” field is off 6 hours (forward)

  2. I reply or forward with history this message and time and date in history of this message right below “Forwarded by …” is back to correct value !!! but the time and date in new message I’m creating by forwarding this message is now 24 hours off !!! next day

  3. same thing for new created in DWA - 24 hours off

does anyone have any idea what is going on ? again time on domino server is correct on OS level and domino console.

mmmm, bizzare.

Is it a problem related to DST?

OS and clients have correct time and date…They have the M$ patch?

Have your run the IBM’s agent?

Is your forms6.nsf db updated?

Do you receive those emails form people with the patch, without the patch , from your Notes domain, etc?

If you go with a Notes client, what are the values of the fields StartTimeZone and EndTImeZone?

we haven’t done any of the “fixes” for DST yet… should not affect me now, should it?

as far where these email are sent from? does not matter same for all. Notes.ini on server is set to timezone=6

same messages from Notes clients are OK, it only happens for DWA

any idea?

what’s real bizzare is I create message in DWA right now it shows Data as 02/23/2007 10:05 PM which is 24 hours off I sent this message out, refresh my SENT view and see this message on top with date 02/22/2007 10:05 PM !!! correct date and timeI then double click to open message I just sent and it shows Date: Friday, February 23, 2007 4:05 AM which means now it’s 6 hours off

I go to Notes client and all looks good, additionally since I sent this test message to my personal external account I can actually tell how it looks like after it’s received, I open POP3 outlook client pull message down from external mail server, all looks good !! correct date and time.

It depends. Maybe our server or clients has received thepatch from Microsoft vie Windows Update. I would check via Config Panel\Add-remove program.

YOur forms6 is modified?

You must run the IBM’s agent.

Did you look in the DWA preference for time zone settings?
