Tiff Manipulation/Annotation

Has anyone had any experience using Tiff Manipulation/Annotation software via OCX or DLL in Notes?

Thanks

I do this almost daily. I use a tiff imaging programme which can annotate images found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable processing option. Then you can annotate your image in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open the images, select annotation ,and follow the setps given in the sdk, the task will be finished in several seconds. if you haven´t found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.VB.NET TIFF: VB.NET Sample Code to Process & Manage TIFF Page; TIFF Processor SDK

As a mature .NET imaging component, our VB.NET Imaging Library SDK is equipped with several outstanding features. With these advanced features, VB developers will find it easier to finish image and document related implementations through VB.NET programming. For example, you can make text and other annotations on images. Here are useful links:VB.NET Image: .NET Image SDK for Image Viewing, Processing & Scanning

Look at Imaging Systems products at imaging4notes.com. IMIS/Scan allows you to scan documents into Notes and manipulate (e.g., annotate, highlight, stamp, redact) them. IMIS/View allows you to manipulate the images but not scan them. You can save the images as TIFFs or PDFs. You can store the images as attachments, ODMA attachments, links to an image server, or links to files. Fully-functioning demo software is available for evaluation.

Sure - I’ve used the BlackIce tiff SDK.

Unless I missed something, there really isn’t any way to control the size of the display control in the Notes client, but it works well on the web (though to make it really interactive you have to make it IE specific)

thanks Peter

You have used the BlackIce tiff SDK.

How do you integrated this in a notes Form (which DLL or OCX)

Thanks for your answer.

Subject: A third-party solution named “Import Image 2 Lotus Notes” can do this …

Check out Voith's CODE :: Import Image 2 Lotus Notes for details.

Amongst other features, you can thumbnail, resize, rotate, overlay both text and images, including transparent text and images. Regarding TIFF you can extract certain frames and get the total count of frames.

All programming is done via LotusScript.

I used a third party executable called TiffMaker. Does everything that Bob mentioned and all you do is shell out to the .exe via lotuscript and pass the parameters you need, very versatile and reliable product - (and I don’t work for them - just a Notes developer).

Here is there website:

Thanks Robert and Tom for yours answers.

But I don’t think that those products can do what i want.

Robert your good product don’t have any event. like click drag and drop or right click.

Tom I saw your product before but it don’t have what i want.

Our company search a Tiff Editor to integrate in Lotus Notes.

In a document a tiff file must be display and we must have the basic functionnality (rotate, zoom, print, save as …) but also we must have the possibility to add annotations and pictures (stamps) on the display tiff. Those annotations can be move or delete.

Thanks again for yours answers and happy new year

Subject: With II2LN you can create a database with preview functionality …

… and in fact is a sample database ready :slight_smile: Check out the screenshots below;

The next screenshot shows the preview screen where you can do all kind of II2LN work, such as annotating, getting- and setting EXIF and IPTC info, overlaying text and images etc.

All preview operations will be performed while in Notes!

Take a look at the homepage to get in touch for more information.
