This name is not in a directory

We have a condensed directory catalog defined in the server document and we also use a standard Domino directory. Lookups are working for both the Domino directory and directory catalog, but if I try to send a memo to an address in the directory catalog, I get a dialog that reads:

This name is not in a directory

If I click Send Anyway, a delivery failure report is sent. It appears the @Domain suffix is not being appended to the users listed in the directory catalog. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Upgrade to R 6.5.4. Ran into a tech note that outlined the various problems we ran into testing both mobile and extended directories. After upgrading both the server and client to 6.5.4 problems no longer exist.

I have the same problem in 6.5.3.

But I hasn’t it in 6.5.

When I upgrade 6.5 to 6.5.3 I reproduce it.

After upgrade to 6.5.4 the Namelookup in the

condenced directory work fine.

We too are seeing the same scenario, our environment is Windows 2000 server, Domino Server release 6.5.3 with Fix Pack 1 applied. If it helps any the address that is returned from the search of the CDC appends the primary internet domain at the end of the recipient’s address.
