This is fun

I got today’s email from the IBM Verse Team. I can’t open it in Notes. Consistently crashes.

It’s amazing that Notes is supposed to be a productivity application, yet I waste so much time trying to fix it. What pains me the most is that I can’t get any help whatsoever from IBM since I don’t work in the department with the service contract, and help in these forums is spotty at best. This is nothing against people who try to help here, but it’s just what it is. I guess no one really comes here much.

Subject: Data collection for crashes on Mac

Ken,

I understand your frustration. If you want to try to figure out the cause of the problem, a PMR is the best route to go. Somebody from your services department should be able to create a PMR on your behalf. If that is not an option for whatever reason, have a look here at how to collect files for a crash on Mac. Excerpts of the crash files posted here would help.
