Maybe you need to upgrade that 386 Win 95 box with a 1200 baud modem to something a bit more recent! 
Actually, it sounds like you may be having a problem with your bandwidth or some other resource issue. At our work, we only access the web from terminal servers. At noon, response time goes to crap because everybody hits the terminal servers for web browsing.

nope, as I said earlier, I have no response time issues with any other sites at the times that this forum is slow. I can go to yahoo, google, microsoft and have no problems at all.

Maybe your ISP hate’s notes/IBM and is throttling your throughput…put on your tinfoil hat!

Sometimes it’s slow, but at other times it’s even slower. Occasionally it’s even dog slow.
Currently it’s rather slow for me, but not as slow as back then.

I agree, in general this forum web site is very slow. It seems to have gotten worse over the past few months.
