I have been condemned by my boss to do some work programming Repeating events in the calendar, and would like to know whether this represents eternal damnation, or simply worldly misery (Stan, feel free to answer).
Does the product actually work? Here’s an example. I have a world-wide client base so actually Monday-Friday is NOT the only weekday pattern. I can set my preferences to show other combinations. So my (very clever) code properly adapts the Recurrence rules in the .ics being sent to external invitees, but when I come to create a new repeating meeting and say “Weekdays only”, then guess what happens? Monday - Friday goes into the Notes recipients’ calendars!
This is just the tip of the iceberg (and this one isn’t shrinking in global warmering). Can anyone out there give me some succour, or am I the sucker!
