The remote server is not a known TCP/IP server creating id vault

Hi all, i have a problem creating an ID Vault in our server. I start the wizard and when i select one of our server (in the same domino domain) i receive the error “The remote server is not a known TCP/IP server”.

All server is working ok and all are at 8.5.1 FP1 or FP3.

I try with server under linux (SLES) and under windows 2003 with the same result.

First of all check that you can trace every server from the machine that you are using to create the ID Vault. (File-Preferences-Notes Ports-Trace option).

Check you local names.nsf also for correct connection documents. If you have a proper connection documents already check network ports, IP address.

Put the IP address in the advanced tab (destination server address)and retry ID Vault setup.
