The remote server is no longer responding

Hi All,

can anyone help me out about this problem?

In one my site I have lot of users that cannot send a mail with attachment. In the replication view I see that message “The remote server is no longer responding” and the mail remains panding into ‘send outgoing mail’. Be aware only the mail with attachment is having problem all other operations are working fine. The users can receive the mails and send them ,if no attachment is ebbended. My doubit is that somenthin is changed regarding ports o protocol livel inside the router. Has someone heard this before?

Subject: the remote server is no longer responding

  1. touch a file c:\client.txt 2.Add these configure variable to the notes.ini file of Notes client.

    Client_Clock=1

    Debug_Console=1

    Debug_Outfile=c:\client.txt

  2. check the c:\client.txt file, and find out the reason.

Subject: network connection problem or server is down

try if you can ping the server from user’s machine.

Check server name speicified in Location document.

Check if the server is up and running.
