how can i find from nsf/ntf file ,by which release of LN Designer was the file created/updated

Since R5 there is a field called $DesignerVersion on each design document, it has usually values like “5”,“6”,“7” according to domino designer version. Pre R5 design documents don’t have this field, so you can tell that if the field doesn’t exist it was probably done with a R3/4 client.
On the database properties/info tab you can also see the ODS version of the database, 20 means R4.6, 41 means R5, 43 means R6/7.

Keep in mind that the “ODS” is “on disk structure” which does not depict the design version number.
