The object's application or class is not available

Hi,

I have Lotus Notes 8.5.3 installed in my machine with the Windows 7 enterprise OS.

In one of the lotus notes application, we had a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet object embedded and the document was created in the year 2000. Now we are in the process to migrating them to SharePoint.

When I open the document now in Lotus Notes Client 8.5.3, I am getting an error “The Object’s application or class is not available”

I understand the issue is due to Lotus 1-2-3 application which is not supported now. My question is how to suppress this error message without making any changes to the document.

Subject: You might have the object set to autolaunch in the design of the form

You could try disabling that.

Or obviously, install 1-2-3
