We previously were always able to access our Domino server from a browser by typing in the server name: DomSvr1 or DomSvr1/mail/mymail.nsf
Recently we added 2 “Internet Site Documents” for
our intranet (intranet.ourdomain.com)
our email (email.ourdomain.com)
BOTH of which work WELL from the browser now.
However… we can no longer access anything that refers to our server by server name…
is there something I need to add to allow this?

it seems that as soon as I made the Internet Site docs… that’s when we could no longer access it that way… do i need an Internet Site doc for the server?

we added (internal) DNS entries for the email.ourdomain.com, the other one was already in place.

By any chance are you using SSO? If so the token is for the domain name and will not work for just the server name.

In the Internet Site document, there is a field labeled:Host names or addresses mapped to this site:
if you do not include the name of your server, you will not be able to reference the server by name on the URL Address line!..
Now, if I can only find what broke all my links on our Intranet! (See earlier post)
