Hi Guys.Hope you all are doing great.

Ive got a problem hope some one will help me out.I am trying to recertify expired id but while am doing that am getting this following error:

The directory entry for ABC cannot be updated due to the following error

The name cannot be registered.More than one entrywas found in the Domino Directory with the name.

Do you want to recertify the file anyway

yes/no

Subject: the name cannot be registered…more than one entery found

open the hidden view ($Users) on the registration server and see if the common name of the user already exists for someone else. If you have a Roger K. Smith he will also have an alias of “Roger Smith” so if you try and register a “Roger Smith” it won’t let you since one aleady exists. You could remove the alias and it should then work. Also check to make sure there is no replication/save conflict for that user in the DD as this will also cause an issue.
