I have a computed when composed field (hidden) called DocID. It has the @Text(@DocumentUniqueID) as the formula. A user can edit the form and click “create 2nd form” to create new web doc in another Db. @URLQueryString passes the contact data + DocID to the new document… this seems to work fine. When I goto the link field in the new document, I see the “Link to Original Form” but the docID seems to be different!?! Any ideas? I go back to the original document and see the docID seems to be the same as before the user created new doc. Is the # being changed after clicking the button or something?

Wow… I decided to unhide my DocID field and noticed (even when computed when composed) that the value is changing along the way. e.g. I create new form and it has docID of …123 then save/submit and it has docID of …A1A. Is this a web thing? I know that a computed when composed document on the Notes side would not change #s. This could make my link in the next document (inheriting the docID value) a challenge.

Needs to be computed not CWC…
