Hi all…
Not sure if anyone’s come across this issue, but in my preview pane (and when I open the actual email), the text for older emails (in one thread) gets larger and larger, with the original email having the largest sized text. It’s like the font size grows as you scroll through the email view the older messages in the thread. This is happening for all my emails. What could be causing this?
I did change my fonts (in User Preferences > Default Fonts) to Calibri for everything. Could that have something to do with it? Just for kicks, I changed everything back to the default fonts but it seems the emails are permanently affected as the font sizes still grew larger.
I have not received any new emails at the moment so I’m not able to test whether it’s changing the font that does it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Okay, so I just confirmed with a coworker (who has the default fonts) that it’s happening on her Notes as well. Funky.

This happens with emails that originate from me and emails that I’m copied on but don’t reply to. I confirmed this with another coworker as well.

Just confirmed with another coworker and she doesn’t have this issue. Very weird and I’ll bet there’s a 99.9% chance I’ll never find an answer to this issue.

I had the same problem before and what worked for me is setting the “Format for messages addressed to internet addresses” field (Mail tab) to “MIME Format”. Hope this helps!

Well it partially works. While the font doesn’t grow larger anymore, on some emails the font now shrinks! I guess having it get smaller is better than getter larger (at least in this case 
).
I do have another issue now. Actually it’s more of an annoyance. When receiving emails (especially from Hotmail or Gmail), I guess those “clients” place a horizontal bar in the email to separate their email body from my email body. When I reply and hit send, I get an error saying Notes can’t send because of the horizontal bar, so I then have to delete the horizontal bar.
It doesn’t make sense to me that MIME is an internet mail format but Notes won’t send the email unless I delete that horizontal line.

I think I’ll fall short of the god mark for now because that does sound quite odd. I would recommend opening a PMR with the Lotus Support Mail Routing team for that one.
