Text box entry not saved?

I have a form on the web with pass thru html

I have a field on the form named SBSuggest computed when composed.

I have a button that does a sends an email message and does a save - html renders in the page as

But the contents of SBSuggest are not saved when button is clicked. Other fields on the form are saved. What am i missing?

Computed-when-composed fields are not recomputed at each save (as regular computed fields would be). Using a regular computed field would solve the problem. Then again, simply using a multi-value text field, with “separate values” and “display separe values” set to New Line (no space, comma, or semicolon) and setting the HTML attributes for the field to the appropriate rows and cols, rather than using a computed field, would do the trick.
