All the users attempting to login to a Sametime server receive the following errors:

“Temporarily unable to verify login. Please try again.”

Everything was working fine before one of the server engineers restarted AIX server on which Lotus Domino is installed.

I have checked the following:

  1. Unique & hierarchical value in username field

  2. No duplicate entry in NAB for any user.

  3. User access to Sametime server and ACLs for Sametime databases.

Any insight and help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Subject: Look in stlog.nsf for the reason code for login failure.

If you don’t see an entry for a failed login in stlog.nsf, check that you can connect to port 1533 on the AIX sametime server.
