templates (and i specifically mean NTF files here) are showing up in the database catalog, our users are having a problem trying to find things like the reservations database because there are replicas of the template from every server in there as well.

Uncheck the “List in Database Catalog”

why do most of the lotus supplied templates have this turned on - probably so that any database built with that template gets listed by default.
NTF files should NOT be listed in the database catalog, it’s for databases, not templates
and yes, i can turn them off but they’ll just get turned on again at the next upgrade so really, what’s the point
