We just upgraded one of our clients mail files from 5.0.9 to 6.0.1 Everything seems to be fine with it, except the template for the inbox is still the green color from version 5 and still has the old buttons. The folder view and all of the actions seem to have upgraded flawlessly, just the inbox view is causing problems. Any ideas? I’ve already tried reupgrading the file and recompacting it.

Hate to sound silly, but in the mail file you are having a problem with, is that design element marked to prohibit refresh design to replace? Check the properties. In the view of the folders, right click on the $Inbox folder and see. That could be why it is not changing, because its marked not to change.

don’t spend to much time in finding problems that are’nt realy one.Right-click db to open context and select “Replace Design”.
In the apearing dialogbox select the new template and fire !
maybe you have to check “advanced Templates” checkbox to make the Template visible.
