I have created a DB-template (.ntf) from a database (.nsf).In the properties of the template I set “Database is a maintemplate” and give it a name.
The problem is that when I reopen the DB-template
the template-name I just created is blank.

Check the server log.nsf around the time you entered the template name. If there is a duplicate template name it will do that and the log should tell you. I’m guessing you already have a template with that name on the server.I went through this several months ago and it took me forever to figure out what was going on.

I will check it out.But i doubt that this is the case - because it does not matter what template-name I set in the properties-box - it is not saved in any case !?
Sometimes I have noticed a “delay” in Notes - maybe it will function “later on”?

Look for “Create Master Templates” field under Security tab in the server document. This is a new setting in R6.

Hi,This was the case for me: when I checked the log on my server, I saw that the userid I was using was not allowed to create a template.
When I asked the admin to change this for me, it was OK.
Thanks!
