"Telephony Log in Job" Error

Hi, I have Notes 8.5 installed on a Vista machine and on a Mac. When I open Notes the error “Telephony Log in Job” encountered a problem always pops up.

Tried searching for the issue on the net but I can’t find alot of information on the subject.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem after upgrading to Notes 8.5 on my Vista PC. I can reproduce the error, when I log off Sametime and log on again.

I have 2 installations of 8.5, each have a few users with this error. Uninstall and reinstall does not help. I found a simular error fixet in 8.0.1

Has the error been re-introduced in Notes 8.5?

Anyone found fixes or workarounds?

Has a souloution been found for this problem. I have 8.5 installed on Vista and get the error

An internal error occurred during: “Telephony Log In Job”.

java.lang.NullPointerException

we fixed the problem by resetting the user in the user properties -Sametime -Server-Communitys

Subject: Same problem here too and I downgraded to 8.0.2

I am plagued by the same “Telephony log in job” error message, repeating every few minutes. I’m also running on Vista 32bit. I tried downgrading to 8.0.2, but I’m still getting the message. Driving me crazy.
