I would like to create a mail database that I can actually email information to without setting up a user account for it. Basically, I am trying to create an easily-updated database to throw information into regarding my tech support calls and problem resolutions, and I think just shooting an email over to another database may be one of the easier and quickest routes.

Setup a mail in database…
create a mail database based on whatever mail template you use, then create a mail-in database document in the NAB to point to the new mail file. You can set the Notes name and SMTP name in this document.

Very cool! Got it working very quickly, thanks for the help!

Whenever I do this, I make a really simple mail template (for speed and ease of use) and make the memo form really trivial, just displaying the handful of fields that we’ll need.
I then make a main view that shows UnProcessed memos. I make an action bar button that lets you mark selected memos as Processed. I make another view for those Processed memos.
All this is to make it so that the mail file has a crude workflow so that it is more usable.
