How web ready is teamroom (teamrm7.ntf) supposed to be out of the box? The action bar is missing in action, and some of the views are kinda ugly on the web. Someone mentioned that xpages in teamroom weren’t working, but I’ve scoured servers and can’t find any “teamrm7.ntf” (entitled TeamRoom (8)) anywhere…

The teamrm7.ntf template is the correct version. It has only received some small bug fixes since R7, hence the name remaining the same. We are hoping to provide a working versoin of xPages TeamRoom in a future release.
The out of box template is ready to work on the web. There could be some security issue on your system, as I received this message when loading the TeamRoom through the browser. Is it possible that you hit Cancel at this point? This could cause the action bar not to load properly.
