Taking Domino application offline

  1. Has anyone worked on Domino application to take it offline without DOLS?

  2. What has been the experience with DOLS?

Basically, i need to take a domino application offline where the users have very low bandwidth and older machines. So, I am looking at a solution which is not resource intensive.

Any ideas/solutions/experiences are welcome…
