Table is Malformed

One of my database users is unable to open documents within our Reporting database, getting the message ‘Table is malformed’. All other users are able to access the documents successfully.

The form consists of a table embedded within a table, containing a rich text field. The document in question includes a number of attachments, total size 8,269,574.

She is able to open other documents within the database, but cannot see the attachments. Her client version is Release 7.0 HF277 June 21, 2006 L-GHUS-5RWNHM.

Has anybody come across this before please ?

Subject: I think the error is probably just a side effect

My guess is that you are running low on memory, and the malformed table just happens because it can’t load it all. The error happens sometimes with tables, but when it does, it should happen for all users. The fact that some can load it and some can’t sounds like a memory issue.

Subject: Table is Malformed

I got this error when I did a copy of a RichText Document from one document to another and didn’t include all the parts of the RichTextItem. But it wouldn’t work for anyone - not just a single user.
