Table in RT field losing margin specs when copied

I have a fixed-width table in a RT field in a document (doc A). This field is then appended to a RT field in another document (doc B) via LS using the “appendRTItem” (also tried copyitemtodocument)…

In doc B the table shows up properly left adjusted inside a table on the form.

however, from doc B, when I do a viewswitch form to a printer friendly form (doc C), the table’s margin settings change, so instead of being left adjusted, it’s in the middle of the page.

I’ve tried putting the RT field in doc C in a table, out of a table, and it always loses the margins defined in doc A and B

does anyone have any ideas?..

Is the rich text field in Doc A in a table cell (the rich text field on the form, not the content)? How about the rich text field in Doc B? The margins can get quite messed up in these cases.

Yes - The RT field in doc A is inside a fixed width table…with the field label in the left hand column, and the RT field in the right hand column. Same for doc B
