How do I set a table to fit to window height?

You don’t!

Essentially tables expand in height to contain their data and unless you are using a quirk that is only supported in a limited range of browsers it is not possible.

If you need to fill the page with content you may be better off using Divs and an appropriate style!

I was on the same page as you are now; however, I was proven wrong by a co-worker. He use Frontpage, with this code

 
and it set the table to 100% of the window height. Not only did it work but it resized when the window resizes. I can not get it to work through notes for the web. Is this a notes limitation?

How did you try it? Did you just add height=“100%” to the table cell properties?

As an aside, Rufus didn’t say you couldn’t do it, he said “unless you are using a quirk that is only supported in a limited range of browsers”.

We test a simple HTML page with just the html code on multible browsers. But once we put it on notes it did not work.

Could it be that Domino has taken the browsers out of quirks mode on account of the <!DOCTYPE tag it has generated?

Works absolutely fine formme - except that I put height=‘100%’ in the table tag, not the td tag
