Tabbed tables and hide whens on web

I have created a web form with a tabbed table. I want to hide tabbed rows based on a field value on the first tab. When I open the form in a browser I see the tabs that should be hidden. When I click on the tabs that should be hidden the whole table disappears. Anyone know what is going on?
