I’d like to be able to synch two client personal address books, one on a workstation and one on a laptop. I thought I could synch with iNotes first then synch again with the second PAB, but I ended up with duplicate names next time I synched. Any suggestions on how to keep all three synched (2 PABs and iNotes).

The “Sync Address Book” features can and should only be executed from ONE machine consistently. If you run it again on the 2nd machine, the agent will discover that you are synching fron a different names.nsf and therefore creates copy of each entries instead of update.
The other option, as mentioned by Gregg, you can make a replica of the PAB on the server. Make both machines use the same exact replica. Each machine will sync against the server copy. I have this setup for a few of our executives. I don’t recommend doing this for everyone as will take lots of time. Also, this would require that you give user access to make replica on the server.
