We have implemented the Desktop policy to Enable Synchronize Contacts for all users. The option under File-Preferences does appear as selected and greyed out for the users as expected.
What is missing is that the Enabled checkbox is NOT checked on the Replicator page for Synchronize Contacts and must be selected manually or it the Sync actually does not take place. Does anyone know why it would only be set in the Preferences and not on the Replicator page and/or how to correct it?

In Notes 8.51, “Enable” checkbox is not checked by default for Synchronize contact.
Before the policy is applied, the “Enable” checkbox is invisible.
After the policy is applied, the “Enable” checkbox is visible for user, but by default it is unchecked.
This is changed in Notes 8.52. Once the policy is applied, this entry is enabled.
