When I try to synchronize my contacts with my HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6.1, the contacts does not stay in my mobile device. Mail, calendar and todos works great
Contacts entered in the mobile device end up in my Lotus Notes client and is at the same time removed from the mobile client.
Contacts entered in the Lotus Notes client simply stay there and will not move over to the mobile client.
I have tried to reset the mobile device, reinstalling the Traveler client, reset of the Traveler server with “tell traveler reset” command and toggled the sync setting in the Notes client without any luck.
Subject: Re: Sync problems with contacts in Traveler
You have tried all the simple things to try. It could be many things (mail template, server version, device configuration, etc.), so you probably need to open a PMR so that client and server logs can be looked at to figure out what is going on here.
I ended up creating/adding a replication of Synchronize Contacts and that did the trick. This seems like a band aide solution by IBM. So everytime i make a change/ add a contact in Notes i have to start the replication to upload the changes. Sure, i can set it to replicate on a schedule, but that’s not a good solution either.
