HiI have noticed recently that when I switch ID’s to a different username, my location document gets updated to reflect their mail file path. This is very annoying as I spend all day switching ID’s
Does anyone know how to prevent this
Thanks
Mark.

You should check the settings under the “Advanced” tab of the location document. If you specify “all” (by using the “*”) in the “Only for user” field, that should take care of it. But, if not, you will need to create a new location document and then specify the user ID to switch to on the same tab in the location document. That way you can just switch locations and it will ask for the password for the user id associated with that location.

Nope. This isn’t new to R6, although I can’t remember for sure if it was in R4. (I think not.)

There is a field on the location document called "AcceptUpdates"You can set this to “0” to prevent the location doc being changed when switching ID’s
Theres an action on the form under advanced that does this.
Cheers

Doesn’t that action disable dyncfg from making any changes to PerNAB docs, including those set from Policy?
