This is another one regarding “editing speed” or whatever one would want to call that ![]()
Assume that I work on an XPage in the editor pane. I select some control there - say an Edit Box - then set focus to the Properties pane and edit some property, like modifying the Edit Box’s name. Next I wish to alter the name of the Edit Box next to the first one. So I click on the 2nd Edit Box’s control in the editor pane expecting that it is selected immediately.
But No! I see that still the first Edit Box is selected, and so are its properties. So I have to click Edit Box number 2 once more to select it and to be able to make my modifications.
This is quite annoying, especially if I have to alter more than one element in a row.
Btw, this behaviour is true whether I select my controls in the plain or in the source editor.
Could you (Lotus) consider to change that?
Thanks!
