I don’t know if I’m addressing this properly but it would be very nice to have possibilities to print in background (not through UI of view or doc).

HiNot sure it is easy to do, but
you may ask it to the server, format a file the way you want e.g. with a DXLExport, and then use a printing command such as ‘lp’ on unix…
