Hi, i have a big and stupid problem. All my clients work fine in my net with lotus notes, except one. Suddenly it returns an error on sending and receiving mail. I didn’t change anything on the pc and the configuration is the same in all my clients…What’s happened? Any suggestion?
I don’t want create a connection document on that pc, because for year in that machine i didn’t need to have a connection doc, and i haven’t a connection doc in the others machines.
Best regards

Check that the location document is right. Periodically we get slow network connection errors and our users always seem to choose to use the local profile. This changes the location document to point to an Internet connection and not the Office connection.

the location document is right, it is office. Any other idea?

OK, but what’s in it???
Also what connection documents have you got? I only have the default connection … but then again I only have 1 server.

Does it happen for everyone who uses that machine? Try a switch ID…
Perhaps rename the client directory out of the way and install it again?

I have tried to install again, but it doesn’t work. Always the same message. If i change the id the message is different, something about the configuration message that is invalid or the modules are not available…

Create a new location document from scratch. Swithch to it… then delete the old connection document. Also, use the Port - TRACE utiliy under the user preferences… that might help you figure out where notes is stopping.
