I am looking for a succinct description and function of a Lotus Notes doclink for a training class. Any specific documentation that may provide this? I am receiving a number of questions like: ‘So it’s a hyperlink?’, etc. So would like to have a definitive description of what a doclink is and what it can do (especially in comparison to hyperlink, etc.). To be slightly more helpful and answer your question:
I would say you could view a doc link as a hyperlink. It basically points to a specific item within Domino, whether that be a document or a database. The actual structure is very different to your bog standard hyperlink, but the idea behind it is the same.
