Subscription results give garbage in Headlines.nsf

Hi,

I tried setting up subscriptions in our 6.5 (client and server) environment, and it doesn’t work - either with our own databases or even with the New Mail subscription that comes in Headlines.nsf by default.

It picks up the new documents correctly, but instead of displaying them properly in headlines.nsf using the columns defined in the default view of the subscribed-to database, or the ($HeadlinesView) if one exists, it just gives a long string that includes the UNID, author canonical name, author common name, author canonical name (again), subject, subject (again), etc. I’ve tried using the Headlines template from 6.0 and 5.x, and I’ve tried using a 6.5.2 client. All give the same results.

Has anyone seen this before? We’re moving to 6.5.2 server soon so I’ve got my fingers crossed that will cure it, but at the moment it means subscriptions are useless in our domain.

Thanks,

Toby.

Hi, Toby, even with 6.5.2 (All Platforms!) it won’t work. We migrated to 6.5.2 in order to solve the problem with these subsciptions/headlines. No effect…

In our domain subscriptions are useless too.
