Subscript out of Range with DST Update Agent

I am testing the Daylight saving time agent proided to us by IBM. I am having an issue with some clients running into the following error. Subscript out of range. When I run it in the debugger it stops at the following line in the UpdateCalProfile section of the script.

TZprofilecheck= TZitems(0)&TZitems(1)&TZitems(2)&TZitems(4).

Any ideas? I think I am using the latest version of the agent. This only happens on some machines not all.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dawn

You think or your sure?

It’s a value form the calendarProfile. So it will work for some and will not for others because we have different values in our calendarPRofile. You can use NotesPeek to check the value in the profile.

I think only because, when I click on it from the web site to save the file name is different then what it looks like on the page. I will try notespeek. I thought maybe the script could be changed? Any ideas?

Thanks for your help,

One more thing why would IBM provide an agent that would not work for everyone? Also, how can I fix it other then using notespeek to work for everyone?

Thanks Again,

Hi,

NotesPeek will not solve the problem, but will help to see what’s the value stored in the CalendarProfile or INotesProfile.

I found out that the cause of this error is an incorrectly set “TimeZone” field in the CalendarProfile document.

In the case of the failing entry, the TimeZone field is set to:

“Z=5$DO=0$ZX=55$ZN=SA Pacific”

The “DL=” parameter is missing, so the call to the “Split” function, i.e.:

TZitems=Split(caldoc.getitemvalue(“timezone”)(0), “$”)

returns without properly setting all of the items in the TZitems array. Subsequently, when IBM/Lotus try to construct the TZProfile check string in:

TZprofilecheck= TZitems(0)&TZitems(1)&TZitems(2)&TZitems(4)

The Error 9 (Subscript out of range) error occurs, because not all of the items in the TZitems array have been populated as expected.

For now, I’m simply going to create an exception report of the entries containing the error and deal with them later.

You should be at 4.0.2.5 version

But, when you click on that one and the save box comes up it says Update_Timezones (by view) 4[1].0.2.3.lss. Where else can I got. I even deleted my cookies, history etc… and it still is coming up with that.
