I have created a form which shows up on the web to be filled in. However, there is no submit button to send/file the record.
Should the submit button not appear by default or do you have to do something special?

Subject: Submit button missing (on web)
The Submit button appears automatically only if you have “Database Properties/Database Basics/Web Access/Use JavaScript when generating pages” disabled. Normally (by Default) it is enabled, and I would also recommned to keep it enabled, as you will else encounter many wierd infunctionality problems in your Web Applications.
To create manually a Submit button, you can use a Formula in it like:
@Command([FileSave]);
@Command([FileCloseWindow]);
or, as quite often wanted, present a view after the document has been saved:
@Command([FileSave]);
@Command([OpenView];“Viewname”);
