Subfom changes margin

I have a subform embedded on the form. I find that depending on how far down I scroll the form and changes to edit mode, the left margin changes, What a user experiences is that the whole body of the document is displaced and is moved to the right with a gap that I thnk is about equal to the margin set in the subform. I tried to change the subform margin (it has tables) and it made things worse.

Any idea how I can resolve this?

I presume this happens only to some users (maybe some R5 users?) Try these steps:

  1. make sure all the tables are fixed width type

  2. make sure all fonts… and all spaces, are a TrueType you KNOW everyone has… like Arial (some clients, R5, don’t have ‘TrueType’ Default Sans Serif

  3. temporarly remove the subform… confirm the left margin is zero, press carriage return, then insert it again.
