(Sub) form action with selected (check marked), unexpected (server name) subaction?

I have two users with very bizarre subactions. They should see a few valid actions (depending on hide when formulas that look at a document’s status, user’s role, etc.). The subactions are typical things like, approve, reject, cancel, etc.

These two users have an unexpected additional subaction. It is the server name, and it has a check mark next to it (!).

  1. I can’t figure out where it is coming from. There’s certainly nothing I can see in the Designer client that would explain why it is showing up in the drop down list of subactions.

  2. What’s with the check mark? A subaction can be “selected”?

  3. The valid subactions do not work for these two users. They click the subaction and nothing happens. No error message.

One more clue: When these users access the database via a different PC (with their own Notes ID), the application behaves normally - no bizarre subactions.

The normal actions & subactions are located on a subform (if that helps).

I’ve searched a few places, and haven’t found anyone else with this problem. That makes me believe we’re doing something different here at my company. We’re still on 6.0.5. I think the machines are Windows 2000 or maybe XP.

They are suppose to get reinstalls of the Notes client, but I thought I’d post here while waiting. Maybe this post will help me or someone in the future.

TIA.
