String return value of API

Hi All,

maybe that´s a particullary stupid question, but i have to ask it anyway :slight_smile:

Here´s my code

bufferStr = String$(NSF_INFO_SIZE,0)

		Call NSFDbInfoGet(hDB,Bufferstr)

		designBufferstr = String$(NSF_INFO_SIZE,0)

		Call NSFDbInfoParse (Bufferstr, INFOPARSE_CLASS, designBufferstr, NSF_INFO_SIZE)

		

		NSFDbClose hDB

		

		Me.templateName = designBufferStr

And here´s my problem:

I can´t modify this String (Me.templateName) anyfurther.

Especially adding some values to it doesn´t work (and i really tried lots of stuff :slight_smile: )

Can anybody give me advise, how to do that ?
