Strange searching problem (index)

we have an notes application database. users can’t search and get no results. But if I delete the index, user can search ang get right results. After I recreated index, the searching doesn’t work. very weird. BTW, the index is 7M.

  1. Are you talking about a full text index?

  2. Are users searching from a particular view using the full text search bar? If so, do they get zero hits on their search, or the wrong results, or too many results … when you say “no results” I’m not sure that means zero hits so want to confirm.

  3. Can you recreate user problem, or is this limited to certain users?

raphael,Yes, I am talking full text index.

They search in search bar, I think it’s full text search bar. They got zero results.

All user have this problem , not to specific users.
