Strange effect with "Merge Conflicts"

Hi experts :wink:

we have strange effects with the “merge conflicts” form property:

database on cluster 01 and 02

local replica on my notebook.

I open doc01 in my local replica

my collegue opens the same doc01 on cluster 01

I change fieldyy

he changes fieldxx

We both save

I replicate my local replica with cluster 02 (NOT cluster 01 on which he was working):

We wait until cluster 01/02 has replicated…

… the resulting documents on cluster servers are different (and stay different)!

the doc on cluster 02 and my local rep have both field changes

the doc on cluster 01 has only the change of my collegue!! Nevertheless the “last modifier” is me!

Crazy behavior for me… isn’t it?!

Subject: Look at sequence numbers

What are the sequence numbers on all replicas for the document and the two fields? You can get this information by looking at the advanced tab of document properties and on the Fields tab with each field selected. The sequence number will appear in these formats:

SN######## (Advanced tab…sequence number for document)

Seq Num: # (Field selected on Fields tab…sequence number for field)
