One of our users has the following problem:When she received an email with attachments and she want to print the message and the attachments, then she opens the message and hits Ctrl+P. At the moment of appearing the print dialog window the opened message closes en the focus moves to the message before the one she is printing.
The selected message prints oke but she has to switch to the message again and re-open it to view / print attachment(s).
The client version is 8.5, mailfile is 8.5.1 template. OS - Windows XP SP3.
Server is 8.5.1.
She is the only person who reports this issue however 12 other users has the same configuration.
Have you tried closing the client down and deleting the cache.ndk? If she’s working on 8.5 Standard (not Basic) then you can also delete (or rename) the “Workspace” folder found under the data folder if deleting the cache doesn’t help.
I’d personally consider upgrading the client given the older release than the template/server, but considering others aren’t experiencing the same issue you are reasonable in expecting it to work.
I’ve had a few users that had these “one off” issues who had their problems resolved by upgrading from our standard client version (8.5.1) to 8.5.2 so it’s not crazy to think that even with the same configurations some users may have an unusual experience.
I upgraded the client to 8.5.1, same as template of the mailfile.
The user reports: the problem is independant of a file being attached, but it is with external email (from the internet), not with mail from within the Domino domain.
