Hi.I’m having some problems with a Notes DB. It seems that some times , the data entered by the user is not being saved and some times it is saved but after a while it returns to the original values (there is no agent runnig at that time and even if some were, there are no agents that changes values, they only send emails). The DB use to run fine. I already inspect the LS code and found nothing suspect (it’s kind of dificult cause i did not developed te DB). What I was told waas that it started having this behavior since domino was reinstalled in a virtual machine.
Could anyone tell me what is wrong? Did anyone experienced something similar? Is there some kind of rollback feature on the domino server thant could be enabled?
Thanks

Is there a replica of the database anywhere? It sounds like some other replica thinks it’s the “master” copy and is not accepting updates from other sources. We had this kind of problem when we moved our data center and “broke” replication for a lot of our servers.
Another question would be, can you go into the activity log and pinpoint when the reversion occurs? If you can find that point, you can then look at the server logs and see if there are any server processes or agents (replication being only one possibility) that might be affecting this database. What’s affecting it does not have to be running out of it.
If you don’t have the access, you might need to consult with whoever has Administrator access and can look at the server logs.
